Coast/Beach
The fabulous West Coast of Barbados is just a five minute walk away from Porters Gate. The closest beach is along the same stretch of beach as the Glitter Bay Hotel.

Golf
Royal Westmoreland Golf Club is very close to Porters Gate (less than a mile?), Sandy Lane Golf Course is about 4 miles away.

Travel
Travel time from the airport is about 30/40 mins depending on traffic.
A car is also available for use of the guests, it is a pretty basic Opel Corsa, four door (with hatchback) automatic gearbox. Car Hire is very expensive in Barbados and I can offer this car for use of guests on request for just £100 per week.

Holetown is only a short distance from Porters Gate, (about 2 miles away).
Most things you will need can be found in Holetown, supermarkets, banks, shops, restaurants and bars.
